From The Golden Rules of Filming: “Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination”.

This quote came up in an interview Jarmusch did for Moviemaker Magazine in 2004, the visual is Rule#5. (See more | Wikipedia). I will include this in my thesis as I believe it strongly relates to open source.

What a wise observation! Here I am 2.5 millenia ahead and still facing the same realization. Maybe the open source ideology is a solution, since it is where generous giving is prior to a wilful  reimbursement. But then we might start expecting a return.
