Slowing down in a world built for speed

I have always sided with the notion that the western world is speeding up infinitely towards a future that becomes both irreversible and impossible for the human being to understand or consume. Carl Honore explains that there must be a limit to the human capacity to multi-task, and by surpassing this threshold one begins paying in very undesirable ways.

This video is hosted by the ever credible TED Talk, and I would strongly suggest it to the especially career savvy workaholics.
